Just a quickie!

I went on a lovely shopping trip with my family today I thought I would make a quick post on what I bought. I took one picture to show you everything and I'm sure you will see some of them in outfit posts in the future, but here you go :)

The lips top was from h&m in the sale £5, The two crop tops are from New Look £7.99, The high waisted hot pant shorts were from a little shop I cant remember the name of £7.99, and the shoes were from Deicheman (hope I spelt that right) £14.99.

Hey!

Right so I have fallen behind on the outfit posts, I have been working quite a bit recently my hours seem to be going back up to the 'normal' amount. So I have quite a few pics, I haven't kept up with taking pictures of all my outfits but here are a few :)

This one isnt really an outfit post I got the dungarees a while ago because I really wanted a pair, but im not too sure how to wear them, so I thought I would team them with the trusty shirt, and ask for any suggestions??

I think I look a bit bored in this photo haha. Anyhoo, this is a dress I got from Tkmaxx ages ago, I love the lace collar on it :)

I love the top in the next picture it looks really good with a high waisted skirt, I think I may have to put it with my thicker skirt though because you can see the top ruffled underneath.

Now, this dress I did post the other day but I really do love it, its just so summery :) This time I put it with a loose cardigan.

The top in this picture was actually a long sleeve shirt that was a little too big for me so I took it in a bit and took the sleeves off and hey presto a lovely new top :)

T-shirt quilt!!

So I have been searching the internet for projects for me to do, I have become slightly addicted to the feeling of having made something I can use/wear. The one main thing that keeps popping up is a T-shirt quilt.

Now if I am honest they do look pretty awesome if I do say so myself. There are so many examples all over the internet.

So, I'm thinking when I get paid I am going to take a trip into primark and see what lovely cheap t-shirts I can get and I am going to try and make one :)

The reason I love posting my little projects on here is because I then have no choice but to make them because I have mentioned them :) and I have another reason to post on here.

Bits and Bobs

Hiya :D Just a little post for now I do have some outfits to post which I will do very soon,

I just found these images on my computer, and I'm thinking I may have to attempt to make one of these. I will have to invest in some floral material first and I'm not sure whether I'm meant to use stretchy material or not :S I will have to find out.

New Pretty Things!

I went on a little mini spree seeing as it was the last of my money for this month.. I am seriously in trouble lol.

Anyway, I bought a couple of things for work as I don't really have very much choice,

So i got this lovely little black dress for just £6!!

I also got some new shoes, they will probably kill me as I am on my feet all day.

This is a bright dress I spotted at work and I had to have it I love collared dresses and really wanted a new one and this was perfect, it is extremely bright and patterned.. and different.

Im not sure what looks best whether it looks better with the denim jacket or the leather??

Jade Dress!

So, that fabric that I got a little while ago.. I actually managed to make a dress!!

It took a lot of unpicking stitches and re-sewing to get it looking reasonable but I am actually quite proud of this :D

I want to make loads of different colours, but I will have to wait until next month to buy more fabric :P

What do you think of my first attempt??

Monday Mayhem!

Hey everyone!

As I have been neglecting this blog quite a bit lately I thought I better make a quick post.

I went out the other night.. It doesn't happen very often ha.

It was for my friends 21st birthday, I even booked a couple of days off of work especially for it.

I have to say I did have a pretty amazing time, so I thought I would share a few pictures from that night :)

Ooooh and I have put pink in my hair!!

I have wanted to do it for so long, and have finally done it :)

its only semi-permanent, I think I will have to find a darker/brighter pink though, or maybe I will use a turquoise colour that would be nice :p

Fabric!!

I ordered some new fabric, so that i could (attempt) to make a nice dress.

What do you think of the colour? and i need to try and decide which dress to make.

Sorry i haven't posted a lot lately I have been working quite a bit, and i have also posted some new bits on ebay, I am honestly becoming slightly addicted to ebay. I love it when I sell something, I like to think that they are going to be well used again.
